Who We Are
From 1882 to 1934, John Jolly Jones operated a farm and dairy on 195 acres in College Station, Texas. The small grocery store operated on the property became known as “Jones Crossing,” located where the original State Highway 6 crossed the Southern Pacific railroad tracks. In 1961, the land was purchased by Mr. Jones’ grandson, Edsel Jones and Dr. O.D. Butler, Jr. Edsel went on to become a real estate developer with Jones Crossing being his first purchase.
